Performing a facility audit is one of the best investments you can make. Audits are a systematic way to review written programs, work practices, and the general condition of a facility.
We offer audits that include:
- Written program review
- Employee interviews
- Facility observations of work practices
- Physical walk around
- Inspections of equipment
- Electrical safety
- Machine guarding
- Chemical safety
- Personal protective equipment
We review both documentation and the implementation of a safety program. Our audits can include all or simply part of the above-listed areas. Our audit process starts with a clearly defined purpose. The safety audit is designed to increase safety awareness of the organization. We can work with committee members or individuals to ensure they are part of the auditing process. If individuals are being audited or interviewed, we work with the safety professional to set the tone for the purpose and benefit of our observations.
Our consultants each have over 20 years OSHA experience and compliance assistance. Our staff also has OSHA compliance investigation experience. Our auditing assistance ends with a closing conference and/or a written report. This report can be used as a checklist to set responsibilities and define priorities.
