Respirator Fit Testing
Respirator Fit Testing is required by OSHA for anyone wearing a tight-fitting respirator
(negative or positive pressure). Our company has worked with clients for many years
conducting qualitative and quantitative fit tests, setting up documentation tracking and
providing training during the fit test process.
Our consultants, can provide fit testing at your facility or at ours and establish an effective
schedule to minimize time for each employee. Support documents that include quantitative/
qualitative fit testing results are provided.
Respirator fit testing is required:
-
prior to initial use of the respirator
-
whenever a different facepiece (size, style, model or make) is used
-
annually, thereafter
-
when an employee’s physical condition changes which could affect the fit of the respirator
